Follow up to: “Shift Gears” by Sister Perri
Hello People of God!
I am so excited with your comments! I was quite thrilled that many of you were willing to be so candid and open! I’ve found that our willingness to share our trials and triumphs encourages and helps others to overcome theirs as well. The Lord sure knows how to get our attention, huh?! I’ve learned in my walk with God that He will sometimes ask us questions, not because He doesn’t know the answer, but it is one of the methods He uses to reveal to us what is found in our own hearts…for our benefit. The Word of God states in Deut. 8:2, “And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.” Also, Jeremiah 17:9 reads, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?”
Using our own free will, the Word of God as our instruction manual, and the help of the Holy Ghost, we can then work towards overcoming our trials. The key in “shifting gears” is to use our cruise control on the Highway of Holiness while remaining in our designated lane. We can, and will, avoid some potholes set by the enemy as long as we allow our Father, the Divine Navigator, to guide us. Please note, swerving from the truth will lead us into a ditch or two. LOL! (I can testify!) But have no fear, the Father is here! Psalms 34:19 states, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Believe me…He knows the right direction!
Keep on pondering, pushing, and pressing to gain your promises!

This is so powerful!!! I feel like im being lead in the right direction
I can atest to that “aflictions” part SP. My mother has continually told me that the Lord did not “give me my Illness”, He gave me My Remission. The Affliction came from the Devil she says, the Lord is protecting Me, Saving me with His Grace because I am His Child, His Daughter, & Covered by His Blood.
I believe this in my heart. I have never asked ‘Why Me’ that is Not for Us to ask when storms come our way. We all get our ‘tests of Faith’ in Life but the true test of character is how we respond. Will you complain & lay down or will you be Stoic and Become a Soldier.
Well I am Soldier. My Mother is Warrior LOL. Sister Perri is Warrior too.

Thank you for the “Shift Gears” questions.
It really made me think and reflect on my progess and position in the Lord for 2008. After being honest with myself…I feel good about how far I’ve traveled. The Lord has used you to personally
fill my tank. The Long Journey really doesn’t matter anymore.
Because I am now more determined to “Press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavanward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14)

Dear Sis. Perri,
How can a person shift gears into the right direction when they have done something so horribly wrong that God has turned His back on them? It is very hard for me to believe that God cares for me anymore because of what I have done.
I shifted gears in the wrong direction and I am not able to return. My whole inner being is empty and my mind is full of torment. I love God so much and I greatly hurt because He has left me. I have no where to turn, for I am no longer fit to serve Him.
Your blogs are comforting but with God gone out of my life I feel as though I am on the outside looking in. What a sad thing it is to have tasted the goodness of the Lord and then get caught up into something that snatches you away from Him forever!
Where do I go from here? Without God I am nothing, I have nothing, and nothing matters. I just exist now.
I am so very happy for all of those who are being blessed by God and are able to experience Him daily. I read your blog because it is the only connection that I have to what used to be for me.
Please don’t stop the blogs.

God has NOT left you! He loves you and nothing can snatch you from His love. No matter what has taken place fall on your knees and cry out to God for help. Use His word…IN… 1 John 1:8-9
the word says; “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. v:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
That’s just the first step…You belong to God Most High!!!! Jesus is your Lord and Messiah!!!! Let your heart find comfort through the power of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name.
Oh God, I, ask for the healing waters to come forth and go to this child of God and heal! Loose your waters…
I feel the waters moving now…
Use them. Use the Scripture. It is NOT to late and you are NOT on the outside…just shift the gear(in yor heart) to go out of the wrong way, and go forward towards the right place now!

Zizanoni, Sister Perri has given you some scriptures that will help you towards repentance and freedom. I wanted to add that SATAN is a liar and he often tries to get us to believe lies about ourselves. There are many things in my past that I am not proud of, but I thank GOD for healing and delivering me so that I wouldn’t let go or give up on HIM. There is a spiritual war that every believer is involved in and the battlefield for this war is in our minds. SATAN can’t stand against GOD’s word, because he has already been defeated by our LORD and SAVIOR, when he died on the cross for us. You can walk in that victory today! Please say these scriptures OUT LOUD and pray them over and over, 1 John 1:8-9 and also 1 Corinthians 10-4-5 ” The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, through the pulling down of strongholds and bringing into captivity EVERY thought to the obedience of Christ. I promise you every time a thought comes in your mind that you KNOW is not of GOD, speak those scriptures OUT LOUD and see how the LORD begins to heal you.

Zizanoni, I thank you for being transparent. For many, it is very difficult to speak the words that you have. Many in the Body of Christ are in bondage and are afraid of what “others” will think of them so they are tormented by many strongholds. I am excited that not only does God love you, but He is going to use you to help others for His Kingdom’s sake. Zizanoni, you are blessed because you awakened and called out for help! I declare that you are already healed, whole, and renewed in His blood. The bible says in Psalm 91:14-15 (NKJV),”Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” What I have learned about God Almighty is that nothing we say or have done or are doing now is a suprise to Him. He is not sitting in heaven shaking his head. Remember, He knows our thoughts before we speak them. He knew us before the foundation of this world. If you heed the wisdom of Sister Perri and others, you will be victorious…amen?
Dear Sis.Perri,Sis.Brigitte,and Sis.Sharon, thank you, thank you, thank you, for your words of encouragement!!! I was not expecting a response. It is such a blessing to have people like you all who really care! I am so glad that I read your messages this morning because I was about to go and do something that I know I would regret later!
You see, I was so clouded and caught up in my sin that I couldn’t or shall I say didn’t want to stop. Upon reading your words of encouragement, I felt a release inside of me that brought tears to my eyes!
I want to do right, I love God with all of my being and I just want to please Him. It was hard for me to look at what I had done and believe that He could forgive me. I don’t like displeasing Him and when I did what I did which was so out of my character, I lost it!!! Can anyone understand what I am saying?
I had no where or no one to turn to when I sinned because all I received was judgement instead of encouragement. I retreated within myself and came to the conclusion that God had left me. I have been struggling with this for the past two years. I’m tired and I want my relationship with God back!
I am so grateful for what you all have done for me! God is going to bless you all tremendously because you took the time to reach out to me with out judging me. I know it may seem small to you all or you all may say that this is what I am here for, but sometimes the duty that God has for you is special because only you can do it.
I feel such a great presence around me right now because three of the most beautiful people which to me symbolizes the Trinity, reached out with care and through God’s power pulled me out of my tragic situation.
So I say to you three, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Glory to God the Most High!!!

God is so powerful and sometimes I’m just amazed of the things that he does for me and others. Sometimes I just find myself just wanting to be with him and only him. I’m going through alot right now and I’m just tired of settling and dealing with what I know that I don’t deserve and I deserve better. God is “AWESOME” and I’m just thankful he is in my life!!
On this 23rd day of the New Year I am ready not to prolong my blessings any further. My people have not been in a position to receive because some preacher told them to plant a number and expect total change. (Called my name) Seeds are to be used as a foundation; start; beginning, not a bargaining tool. I accept them for people to see that they have my attention not to pay me for blessings; all of my children have done it this season. “Maybe if I give more money God will see me”. I see all my children (called my name); they do not need to buy me off. I have no use for money. So many people have what they need, so they sow, I lead them to an idea to receive a harvest and they look for a check in the mail. It angers me to be looked over this way (called my name). I do not just bless in the supernatural for a moment. I bless for a life time. They are to pray through what I have given them not beg me for more money. I want my people to get it right! They ask me how to get it right yet do not do what is required to have (handle) a blessing, that is why no manifestation. That is why seeding, high, and then high wears off because they never ask me how? Or what are my next steps? They just want to give me what I don’t need and want back what they think they need. I am growing tired of this practice. Those who are blessed in these last days are going to recognize blessings and not get mad for not seeing manifestations of things, I the Father DO NOT NEED!
Ok if any body has received a word any where near this one I hope it has been a blessing not a curse. I love you Sister Perry!

I echo every word that everyone has spoken to and over your life. You are called for greatness, for every great trials come great victory. Granted, we devalue ourselves based on the sins we done in our lives and we get so broken and so humble to the point where we shy our face from the Lord thinking he would never want us and our mess. That’s why the bible says put no confidence in men, people will look at our mess and distance themselves but Jesus becomes attracted to our mess because he knows the power within us, he knows the plans for our lives, as a matter of fact, he knew how messy you would become and that you will come out as pure gold after you go through the fire. There is NOTHING that can separate you from the love of God (Romans 8 35-39). You can try everything you want to separate yourself but it will never happen. Jesus is with you ALWAYS!! A little prayer for you.
Father God, I thank you for this vessel whom you have chosen even before she was formed in the womb, you knew her, you ordained her a prophet to the nations, YES a prophet to the nations with Greatness inside of her, Great works awaits her, there’s a birthing taking place inside of her that will release her into her destiny. We thank you for the angels that has been assigned to her life even when she was engulfed into her old ways, you kept her in her right mind, you sent a hedge of protection around her because many people in similar situations have lost their mind, and some are even dead but you kept her and we thank you. Help her to understand who she is and whose she is to you God according to 1 Peter 2:9 She IS A CHOSEN generation, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Before I close this prayer I speak to every diabolical beings, every demonic force assigned to her, Satan it is TOO LATE, she is already chosen and there’s nothing you can do to separate her from the abundance of love that God has bestowed upon her. We come against every mind blinding spirit, every spirit of confusion, and the spirit of deception for she is CHOSEN BY GOD for such a time as this. WE bind every stronghold and loose the spirit of liberty, we bind every negative thoughts, and loose the mind of Christ upon this individual and every individual who receive this prayer in jesus name. Amen!!

Oh my Lord! This is the first time that I have read this blog. I didn’t know it existed. It is great.
To God be the glory for the things that he has done! Zizanoni, I understand your pain. Sometimes we feel that there is no way that God can forgive us. I thank God that we have the bible to give us illustrations of God’s glory. Jesus asked God to forgive his killers so why wouldn’t he have compassion on us???? I, too have done things that I felt were unforgiveable, but God somehow let me know that he will AND DID forgive me simply because I repented and asked for forgiveness. He also told me to forgive myself. PEOPLE may not forgive or forget, but aren’t we lucky and blessed that PEOPLE don’t have a heaven or hell to put us in. God forgives. His word says that “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
