•May 9, 2008 • 28 CommentsA Word From a Special Guest
•March 27, 2008 • 28 CommentsI have a special surprise for today’s word which is going to be a bit different, but just as encouraging. How many of you out there are married, in a committed relationship or still waiting on God to send your divine mate? Well, if any of these scenarios apply to you, then the following message is sure to bless your life!
The letter you are about to read is from my close friend and brother in Christ, former NY Jets, NFL superstar running back and future Hall of Famer, Curtis Martin. The following will be the first of two blogs, with this one specifically for the Men of God (although we women can be blessed by it as well lol!).
So come on, let’s ponder these words of wisdom on relationships and as always I’m waiting to hear from you!

A Letter to a Man
A man’s relationship with his woman should resemble God’s relationship with that man. God knows you inside and out, yet He still loves you. Just think of how loving He is: His patience, His kindness, His guidance, His forgiveness, His grace and mercy… Now keep that thought ever before you and show it to your woman!
A man’s duty in a relationship is to study his woman… not to find fault in her, but to learn how to love her. You can always tell how much a man loves a woman by what he knows about her. As you comprehend how she moves: how she walks, how she talks, how she thinks and how she feels… you also learn to anticipate where she will be once her movement has ceased. That is where your posture, position, protection and provisions are ready and able to accurately guide her to her next destination.
Your guidance must be gentle, not harsh; subtle and unassuming, as if she’s doing it on her own. In taking this approach you will help to give her a sense of accomplishment which is healthy food for her ego. This, however, can prove to be very difficult for you. There’s usually not an immediate show of appreciation for all the “behind the scenes work” that you’ve done. Don’t worry, in due time her appreciation will spring forth like a tree at harvest time, supplying you with the same healthy food that you once nourished her ego with. Seeing her prosper and flourish will be your reward. Her sense of accomplishment becomes your sense of accomplishment. Her joy and excitement of life becomes your joy and excitement of life. At the end of the day, whether or not she recognizes your work, you will know deep within your own heart that you are willing to go through hell to give her a glimpse of heaven. This is Love!

“Coping with the Issues of Life” by Sis. Perri
•March 14, 2008 • 47 CommentsHello most beloved people of the MOST HIGH GOD!!!
I know it has been awhile and I am sorry for that! Please forgive me my sisters and brothers. Moving on, I have decided to just give a little at a time (lol) for all of us to ponder so here we go…
One day I was feeling overwhelmed by the issues of life that were trying to choke all the joy out of my heart, relationships, and happiness in my walk with OUR Father and Most Loved One of ALL!!!
Webster says that an “issue” is a vital or unsettled matter (economic issues); concern, problem.
Webster also defines “coping” as a strike, fight; to maintain a contest or combat usually on even terms or with success–used with; and to deal with and attempt to overcome problems and difficulties.
Now, let’s hear what OUR Father says:
Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” Also, Matthew 13:22 says, “The thorny ground represents those who hear and accept the Good News, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares of this life and the lure of wealth, so no crop is produced.”
The Lord told me, “Child, when things get confusing in your life and the issues attempt to overtake you…You Must slow it all down and step back from the issues and situations to review them clearly.”
Thus says God;
In Stillness……….Truth will surface
In doubt…………..Confusion mounts
In torment……….Pain reigns
In anger…………..Sin rages
Yet I (the Lord) say;
“In PEACE…………..You are given the plan of strength (this is the strategy game plan of how to overcome the issues of life)
May I suggest a 4 step game plan (for whoever desires it) that will help cope with any issue and ultimately, through God, you will overcome. This is His promise to all His people so let’s take heart and be strong and courageous!
Step 1. You must STOP reacting to the issue and pull back
Step 2. Get on your knees and go directly to God in prayer
Step 3. I urge you my sisteren and brotheren (lol) to do as I do–REPENT and ask for forgiveness of any and all sins.
Step 4. Ask God to give you peace in your heart, soul, mind and body. Also ask for godly wisdom, understanding and direction of how to get through whatever issue that’s facing you.
The Holy Ghost strategy will come in when these various emotions are subdued, then peace is released which will help you. The Holy Ghost will counsel you to make better choices and decisions about your life; can give you direction of which way to go and destroy the useless issues (what I refer to as needless pains to bear); gain wisdom in how to cope and deal with the serious issues; and gain strength to overcome them ALL through Christ who strengthens us. Phil. 4:13
I pray this blesses your life as much as it did mine. Be sure to hit me back…I’d love to hear from you!
Til we blog again,
Peace out & God bless!

Sending out a signal…from Sister Perri
•January 30, 2008 • 19 CommentsHey People of God!
I wanted to send a signal out and ask…
“Beep- Beep”
Has everyone been reading and pondering the word given on last week?
Called…
“Search The Matter Out”
?
I would love to hear even more responses from the peanut gallery! (LOL) Where you at?
Maybe you’re still searching it out? Let me know before we move on…
Just a quick holla back will be great!
What type of treasures have you found? Don’t be shy, Let’s talk about it!
I know there is a high possibility that some might have discovered “trunks of junk” that God can change into “jewels”…
Believe me, (smile) I have a whole collection of my own!
Thank You God for mercy and grace mixed with love and our faith…
For the forerunners who have shared your findings and interests, we THANK YOU and ask for you to keep on digging for the “more than enough” ribbon and obtain a BIG gold star!
Ok…So you know this is the Holy Ghost- because I keep on rhyming -as though- I am in a Prophetic flow!
Let’s read the following scriptures to gain insight for the next word…
****Exodus 33:12-23
Which discusses
”The promise of God’s presence”

•January 23, 2008 • 18 CommentsHello People of God!
Well, as promised the new word for the week is here! Now that we’ve entered a new year, it’s very important that we do a self-examination as a part of the purging process. Once again, the Holy Spirit has provided a few questions to consider that we may discover what lies in our hearts.
Imagine yourself as a Holy Ghost archaeologist digging for treasure and revelation in God. Let’s use these prophetic questions to provoke our hearts and minds to ponder and probe us to dig deeper! So, get your flashlight and shovel out…we’re going on a treasure hunt!
Self Exam:
Q 1. Am I where I need to be for God to bless me with the desires of my heart? Find and study 3 scriptures (for example, Psalms 37:4, now you dig for 2 more)
Q 2. Do I have spiritual discernment? Find and study 3 scriptures (for example, 1 Corinthians 2:14, now you search for 2 more)
Q 3. Am I prepared to handle long-suffering and/ or have I been through the training that births the fruit of long-suffering in my life? (Galatians 5:22) My understanding of long-suffering is ________________________ What has it produced in me?
Q 4. Can God trust me? (Trust you with the divine assignment He has for your life in His kingdom on earth).
Q 5. Have I been purified through the fire of the Most High God? Find and study 3 scriptures
Q 6. Have I seen a change on the inside?
Q 7. If so, is it showing on the outside?
Q 8. Am I ready to launch out into the deep waters in the kingdom of God to become a fisherman/woman of mankind? Find and study 3 scriptures
Q 9. Have I been given the necessary tools and the training to catch the fish? Do I have a net? Have I been supplied with a hook? What type of bait am I using?
Q 10. Do I have the skills to go and do what I have been called to do?
Q 11. Will I go? Will I ignore the order? Will I delay in the instruction?
Q 12. Will I reject the request from the Lord? (It will take your own free will to follow and be steadfast in your pursuit to complete the assignment in God).
Til we blog again!
Peace out & God bless,

Follow up to: “Shift Gears” by Sister Perri
•January 17, 2008 • 13 CommentsHello People of God!
I am so excited with your comments! I was quite thrilled that many of you were willing to be so candid and open! I’ve found that our willingness to share our trials and triumphs encourages and helps others to overcome theirs as well. The Lord sure knows how to get our attention, huh?! I’ve learned in my walk with God that He will sometimes ask us questions, not because He doesn’t know the answer, but it is one of the methods He uses to reveal to us what is found in our own hearts…for our benefit. The Word of God states in Deut. 8:2, “And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.” Also, Jeremiah 17:9 reads, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?”
Using our own free will, the Word of God as our instruction manual, and the help of the Holy Ghost, we can then work towards overcoming our trials. The key in “shifting gears” is to use our cruise control on the Highway of Holiness while remaining in our designated lane. We can, and will, avoid some potholes set by the enemy as long as we allow our Father, the Divine Navigator, to guide us. Please note, swerving from the truth will lead us into a ditch or two. LOL! (I can testify!) But have no fear, the Father is here! Psalms 34:19 states, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Believe me…He knows the right direction!
Keep on pondering, pushing, and pressing to gain your promises!
Til we blog again!
Peace out & God bless,
Sis P.
“Shift Gears” by Sis. Perri
•January 8, 2008 • 62 CommentsHey People of God!
Happy 2008! Make the most of it as you launch forward. I would like to pose a question… Have we shifted gears yet out of 2007?
Let’s see by asking ourselves these questions and pondering our answers…
Q. Are you in neutral gear instead of drive?
Q. Are you in park as you are pressing down on the accelerator making noise, but not going anywhere?
Q. Are you trying to drive forward with the gear in reverse?
Q. What does “be still” mean to you? Should you shift to park? Or ???
Just a couple of questions to get us cranked up to roll in 2008 with the Holy Ghost!!!
So what gear are you in? Hit me back.
Til we blog again, lol
Peace out & God bless,
-Sis. P.
